Netflix series 'Orange Is The New Black' actress Samira Wiley is engaged to the show writer and producer Lauren Morelli. Samira announced this by sharing a photo of herself, her fiancée and a diamond ring, with the caption "Yes."


The couple began dating in 2014 following Lauren's divorce from her husband of two years, Steve Basilone. Lauren came out as gay in an essay published in May 2014, revealing that she found out about her sexuality in 2012 - when she started writing same sex scenes for Laura Prepon and Taylor Schilling's characters in the show.
