Breaking News: BIAFRA AGITATION AND UNHEARD WAR SONG, A LIKABLE MEANS TO THE EXTINCTION OF THE IGBOS

Following the gruesome and horror attack against the igbos in Umuahia of Abia state, the home town of the self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) by name Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I begin to ask myself the intention and motive of this man towards the Igbos.
An agitation that has not gained ground, recognized and certified by the international community has no legal right whatsoever to inaugurate a Biafra secret service (BSS) or its equivalent as its security agent. To me, such move is likened to terrorism and has no significant difference between them and the Boko haram insurgents, but only in terms of wielding weapons and there method of operation. Though, their peaceful movement should not be overlooked because majority of those agitators are street thugs and jobless minded individuals who has blamed their circumstances and irresponsibility to the economic condition of the country.
Another major issue I would like to stress here is on the federal government initiation for restructuring which Nnamdi Kanu vehemently rejected without having a preconceived notion that such a development if achieved will benefit the Igbos too. Such rejection simply means that Nnamdi Kanu is not agitating for freedom but for war which if it escalates may definitely result to the extinction of the igbos. For the fact that many Igbo scholars has rejected this move for succession which Nnamdi Kanu is clamoring for is more than enough reason for us to understand the implications and unforeseen consequences associated with Biafra if it is eventually actualized. An agitation that is mostly centered on a hate speech against a president and a country which he is a citizen should be ignored and not to be considered seriously, but my question is with which country’s passport does Nnamdi Kanu travel abroad with? Is it with a Nigeria passport or with a Biafra passport? If he is asked which country he represents, what will be his adept answer?
My annoyance with this whole saga is that the victims of this operation python dance are uneducated and illiterate people who has been brainwashed because they have no prior knowledge of how Biafra started and the real reason for initiating the call for Biafra. Stories told can be real and as well can be unreal most especially, when it lacks a proper findings and investigation. Many lives has been lost right from the inception of this agitation till date and many will still be victimized either by being killed or by torture as far as they continue to intensify this senseless and clueless agitation. A person who calls himself a leader, but violates his bail conditions cannot be trusted and taken to heart.
It is not a bad idea for a group of people to voice out their grievances and clamor for an emancipation, but it is a bad idea if their method of making such move will tantamount to the destruction of lives and properties of the people involved. If a move for freedom seems unattainable, and there is an available option that can be considered to make that move fair and understandable then that option has to be weighed in and given a thought.
Nnamdi Kanu should in my utmost opinion and clear understanding be agitating for restructuring instead of for freedom because, restructuring is the only option that can balance the cause of making such move. I believe that once there is a restructuring, there will be a balance in the country both economically and politically.
